As a Cardiovascular Portfolio Manager (CPM) you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of advanced surgical products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. In this position within the Advanced Surgery business, you will sell products used to promote hemostasis & sealing as well as soft tissue repair in cardiovascular surgery. This position will concentrate on cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, and vascular surgery products and procedures. You are responsible for driving new account sales development and expanding sales in existing accounts including current and future Advanced Surgery products within an established geographic territory.

Location to live: St. Louis or Kansas City Missouri
What you'll be doing:
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers including surgeons, nurses, operating room staff and hospital administration
Developing and implementing sales strategies with focus at the local and regional levels to defend and expand the product portfolio
Maintaining and increasing on label usage of Baxter products through presence in the surgical suite, in-servicing, educational presentations, heart labs, and other value add programs
Monitoring product sales and working with Territory Managers, Marketing, Customer Service and Commercial Operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Attending regional and local Surgical Conferences, becoming an expert in the CV space to ensure external relationships with KOLs and regionally/nationally known cardiovascular surgeons
Providing feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line
Leading and delivering Customer Business Reviews quarterly with key hospital personnel including OR and supply chain leadership
Leading monthly discussions on sales trends of assigned accounts with Advanced Surgery sales representatives in your assigned geography
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience
The successful candidate must have shown experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room with a strong preference in the CV space as well as experience leading a large territory
At least 50% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel as the position will have a geography which may span several states
Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with posted territory is strongly desired
Must have a valid driver’s license
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
