Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student Quality Engineer-Technical for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will...
- Conduct weekly warranty reviews/analysis for Crop Care products
- Work with warranty team to determine if action is required and drive resolution
- Support Data Analysis Team (DAT) meetings with warranty data and Evidence Packages, Update SharePoint and Shared Drives
- Perform various analytical exercises that support Crop Care product teams and their efforts to reduce warranty
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university
- Graduation date of May 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- 15-20 hours/week during the academic year
- 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
- Willingness to learn John Deere warranty tools and systems
- Ideally you will be pursuing a STEM degree; others may apply
