Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

This Senior position plays a pivotal role in the new Trellix Pre-Sales Organization.

As a recognized and trusted security expert you will partner with the Enterprise account sales teams to build a successful sales and execution strategy across the customer landscape. Your input will help develop new prospective opportunities through security advisory workshops, sharing industry insights, driving customer roundtables, presentations and thought leadership at key events. What you’ll do:

  • Work with customers, especially those in highly regulated industries, to help understand Trellix security best practices.
  • Work with other teams within various business units driving transformation and adoption, the collaboration between key stakeholder (customer and Trellix)
  • Develop content, such as whitepapers, reference architectures and blog posts, that can be used to educate our customers and the industry about Trellix security and best practices
  • Provide & conduct various quality workshops (i.e. Security Operation Maturity Assessment, Incident Response Plan & Procedures, Operationalizing Threat Intelligence, etc...)
  • Mentor Trellix sales, presales and specialist SE team to provide expert advice to customers about the Trellix offering.
  • Be the liaison between customer and Trellix to drive successful outcomes

     

About you:

  • Minimum 5 + years of experience in complex IT cybersecurity environments (i.e. SecOps, DevOps, Network or similar operational units in business, information security, risk or compliance role)
  • You have deep expertise in one or more specific areas of risk and security analytics, large scale security operations, cloud security, threat monitoring, Intelligence, hunting, detection and Incident Response and penetration testing. 
  • Must have hands-on experience with working, designing and implementing various security controls (i.e. Endpoint protection, detection & response, Email, Cloud, Network)
  • You are also familiar with other security controls such as TIP and SOAR.
  • You are passionate around cyber-security and are well informed about Security Operation & Management of Devices, Networks, Gateways and Cloud by having relevant technical, business or security certifications in IT, cloud or security (i.e. CISM, CISSP, SANS, etc)
  • Equipped with a unique combination of deep cybersecurity knowledge, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills is essential
  • You are innovative in driving better and more efficient business practices and processes in Trellix to stay ahead of the curve
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, highly regulated environments like government, financial services, healthcare, telco or defense
  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as partner management, consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect
  • Ability to articulate security risk and compliance strategies and plans to CISOs / CTOs / CIOs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
