We are currently looking for a skilled Network WAF Engineer who will contribute to the business by enhancing our defenses against the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. In this role, you will prevent incidents or resolve them swiftly, performing in-depth analysis and devising remediation strategies. You’ll also take ownership of preparing, implementing, and leading project plans for our network security platforms.

Daily Challenges

  • Dealing with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. Prevent Incidents or resolve them when they occur;

  • Performing detailed analysis of events during the incident process, combining sound analytical skills with advanced knowledge of IT Security and Network Threats;

  • Providing a containment strategy and remediation plan in order to resolve the security issue;

  • Preparing/Implementing changes within the applicable technology platform that is responsible for;

  • Produce and lead project plans related to the platform/technology that is responsible for.

eXperience and skills required

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines. Alternatively, an equivalent level of experience;

  • At least 4 years of IT experience, ideally in support of Network Security environments;

  • Fluent in verbal and written English;

  • Strong technical knowledge of WAF technologies (Fortinet and F5);

  • Knowledge about security threats;

  • Good understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework (Change Management, etc.);

  • Autonomy and good problem-solving skills.
