Technical Project Manager

About the Role:

Within the Transformation Business Unit, our team is referred to as Transformation Operations. We have oversight to the various teams and functions within the Transformation organization. We look after the progress and processes related to our key strategic initiatives to help things run as efficiently as possible. Part of our functions includes working with these teams to develop plans for delivering the message to all the other groups within Capital Markets. This helps drive our overall adoption. Join the RPA Team within FIS Capital Markets - Transformation Operation as a Technical Project Manager. Lead the charge in driving our cutting-edge digital transformation and automation initiatives.

What you will be doing:

• You will assemble an internal project team of technical resources & plan system delivery of hosted environments.
• You are client facing, both internal & external, with no travel required. Extensive communication with our customers, professional services & technical teams is a daily requirement.
• You communicate timelines, set expectations, and ensure milestones are reached as scheduled.
• Where risks are identified, you proactively flag them and manage the risk to avoid impact to planned work.
• You’ll handle a wide range of products from our Capital Markets business. Our products offer risk, lending, insurance, treasury, payments, messaging, receivables & actuarial modelling solutions.
• Timelines are key! You’ll enforce diligence to scheduled commitments and ensure project reporting is an accurate reflection of reality.
• You’ll be capable of handling multiple projects in parallel, at various project stages.
• You will enforce process and standards across all project engagements.

• Agile thinking

• Cloud implementations experience
• SNOW and JIRA knowledge.
• Hosted infrastructure knowledge. Decommission of legacy systems. Disaster Recovery
• Mix of experience of both private and public cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Be able to juggle multiple projects at once. Ability to prioritize what’s important VS what’s urgent.
