The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $119,205 - $177,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Complete lifecycle responsibility of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software that runs in GCP and Azure. Supporting and setting up standards for Cloud Applications - For Setting up new pipeline, governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts and backup/restore. Support Local developers’ deployments. Support release management. Support all development teams for CI/CD issues. Mentor and pair with team members on key initiatives. Provide cross-functional DevOps support for organizational initiatives. Architecting GCP solutions that also supports on-prem deployments. Work on Proof of Concept for new technologies to support the CICD process. Technical leadership and Managing Key Initiatives. Work on build pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, Python, etc. Develop and deploy IaC pipelines. Develop and deploy Application and System Test pipelines.
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years’ experience as an DevOps Engineer, CICD Engineer, or closely related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years’ experience as an DevOps Engineer, CICD Engineer, or closely related occupation. Also requires 2 years’ experience with GCP / Azure Cloud design concepts (e.g. Regions, Availability Zones, NSG, VPN, VPC, Subnets, Private/Service end points, Firewall setup); setup of Gitlab or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline with Terraform. bash scripts/Python, Groovy; administration and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters with backup and blue green deployment strategies; Docker container - creation, GCR, deployment using TF, troubleshooting; maintenance in Windows or Linux Virtual machines; scripting utility tools for task automation with bash shell or python; working with Terraform, Ansible, Helm; working on architecture that involves Edge computing and low latency requirements between edge and cloud; implementing security measure for cloud-based deployments; and cost optimization for different deployment architectures.
Pre-employment processing for this position requires drug testing and passing background checks. Travel up to 5% to various unanticipated locations domestically and internationally.
