Electronics Engineer
Key Role:
Develop electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Support other engineers to perform tasks when necessary. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with design and layout of multi-layered, high density, complex printed circuit boards, including component identification, library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, Gerber and functional and performance analysis and verification
- Experience with debug and repair of printed circuit boards and electromechanical devices
- Experience with designing and integrating in cross-functional engineering teams
- Knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices, military standards, and test validation methods, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and UL Safety standards
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with technical writing, including hardware design and description documents, test reports, and proposals
- Experience with software development in high and low-level programming languages
- Experience with VHDL or Verilog hardware description language
- Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
