Job description

Role: QA Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (with a possibility of contract to hire)
Work Hours: Eastern Standard Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Brazil)

The QA Specialist (International) works on exciting projects with one of Client's courseware development team. This role is to review course content and test course functionality. Attention to detail and thinking outside the box are necessary to identify issues that need to be addressed. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other QA specialists and eLearning developers in a fast-paced environment, creating excellent eLearning content and providing feedback to team members that contributes to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit course scripts, descriptions, storyboards, and other deliverables
  • Review graphics/art department deliverables to ensure the quality and adherence as storyboard dictates
  • Test course builds, complete issue logs and re-test fixes until the fix passes
  • Communication with the team on these issues and provide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to make all the departments in courseware thrive
  • Flexibility regarding working hours as they will be working with
  • teams across different time zones
  • Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the Client's DEI statement
  • Ensure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG2.1) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users
  • Collaborate with QA department on current projects
  • May have to fill in for other team members if there is a vacancy
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in eLearning QA
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Able to correct others while, at the same time, encouraging them to improve their skills
