Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Lead Consultant at Argano is an experienced professional in the consulting family who provides expert advice and analysis in their field of proficiency. We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Analytics Lead Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive analytics solutions using Oracle’s suite of data analytics tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), and associated Oracle technologies, along with a strong understanding of data architecture, data visualization, and data integration.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Architecture:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of Oracle analytics solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement best practices for Oracle Analytics, ensuring efficient data flows and optimized performance.
  • Architect scalable and secure solutions, using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and other Oracle technologies.
  • Data Integration and Management:
  • Design and manage data pipelines, integrating data from various sources into Oracle ADW and OAC.
  • Oversee data transformation, cleansing, and storage processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop ETL/ELT strategies using Oracle tools to streamline data integration across diverse data sources.
  • Analytics And Reporting
  • Design intuitive, interactive, and insightful dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into analytics solutions.
  • Perform advanced data modeling to enable predictive and descriptive analytics for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on data requirements and solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on Oracle analytics best practices and architecture principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Data Engineering, and IT, to build and maintain the analytics infrastructure.
  • Performance Optimization And Troubleshooting
  • Proactively monitor and optimize Oracle Analytics performance, ensuring high availability and minimal latency.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within Oracle Analytics and work towards timely resolution to minimize business disruption.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure all Oracle analytics solutions adhere to company security policies and compliance standards.
  • Implement role-based access control and data governance policies in Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, and business intelligence.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Oracle Data Integrator.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle ADW, and other Oracle data tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in a data environment.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams or large projects is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • Oracle Analytics Cloud Certified Professional
  • Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Certified Specialist
  • Oracle Data Integrator Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with tools like JIRA or Confluence.
