Overview:
We are looking for a Utilities Customer Services / Billing Technology Project Manager to join our team as a Senior Consultant, providing consulting services to our public sector utility clients as part of our Local Government Practice Group. You will work with our national client base serving as a key liaison with client and vendor teams to review their organizations and operations and as they plan for, select, and implement utility billing/customer information system (UB/CIS) software. Your background in consulting & professional services, public sector finance/technology and UB/CIS software implementations or integrations will establish you as a trusted advisor. You will leverage this background in consulting engagements to help clients overcome their challenges in new and innovative ways. You will report to senior management within our Local Government Practice Group.
Travel Expectations: BerryDunn consultants regularly travel to client sites in the range of 35-50%.
You Will:
- Lead delivery of services to clients on time, within scope, and within budget, including leading the project team and crafting written work
- Supervise organizational and operational optimization projects.
- Supervise the full implementation life cycle of modern, enterprise-scale applications supporting a business or line of business with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software on behalf of clients from selection to testing, go live and beyond:
- Participate in lead development activities, including writing blog posts, attending conferences, and participating in industry groups.
- Collaborate with BerryDunn’s Business Development team to evaluate, review, and strategize on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other prospect opportunities.
You Have:
- Prior work experience in at least one of the following: consulting & professional services, public sector finance/technology and UB/CIS software implementations or integrations.
- A bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration, finance, computer information systems or business.
- 5-7 years of project management experience with enterprise-scale systems.
- Understanding of system frameworks, modern application user interface approaches, system testing, IT security standards and electronic records maintenance, storage, and retrieval technologies.
- Ability to working in a fast-paced environment, with diverse groups and a willingness to notice and adapt to changing dynamics and priorities.
Compensation Details:
The base salary range targeted for this role is $90,000 - $130,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
