This position contributes to Starbucks’s success by managing and driving the visibility of a global compliance program that reduces risk to the business. The focus areas will include evaluating risk and mitigation opportunities, training, cross-functional communication (internal and external), and implementing and sharing best practices globally. You will be working with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Sourcing, Distribution, and Transportation teams to deliver program and enterprise objectives, remove roadblocks, and roll out new tools and processes that support both enterprise and department objectives. Expectations include implementing and monitoring project metrics, milestones, and budgets while championing innovative solutions to complex problems.

This partner will support business initiatives and projects within Global Security & Resilience, including cross-functional consultation, content creation, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation to diverse audiences. This partner will be responsible for setting direction for the program, leading multiple tracks of work, establishing timelines and tactics for the work, understanding dependencies to the work, providing a recommendation, and supporting the implementation of the workstream.

The ideal candidate to fill this role is equal parts strategic thinker, hands-on solution driver, and collaborative team member. Preferred candidates will have experience working with supply chains. Seattle-based candidates are preferred!

  • Manage complex projects - Defines and leads multiple projects of medium complexity.
  • Ensure projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results.
  • Develop and collect performance metrics.
  • Develop sustainment plans.
  • Represent team and department or functional area on cross-functional project teams.
  • Provide functional expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning and execution.

    • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND, or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

    The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
