Job description

(Job Description)

Globally recognized Coffee Company headquartered in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a fully remote Sr. Inventory Planner (store replenishment team). This role is going to be 100% remote but must support PST hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. This job contributes to the company's success by managing tactical store inventory replenishment, suggested orders, allocation functions, systems, and processes that are necessary to maintain appropriate in-store inventory levels.

Pay - $25/hr. - $28/hr. (all depending on relevant qualifications, tenure, industry, and must haves below)

Location - Fully Remote but must support 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST

Contract Duration - 6 Months with possible extension and/or conversion to FTE

(Key Projects)

  • Break pack initiative
  • Supporting 2 markets
  • Working through the ambiguity and building relationships

(Summary Of Key Responsibilities)

(Executing)

  • Setting inventory strategies and service level strategies; recommending optimum inventory levels and providing options to trade off cost vs. service level targets.
  • Recommending store-focused solutions to meet store sales and financial targets.
  • Leading process improvement efforts and adoption to new technology/capability rollouts.

(Collaborating)

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to create replenishment planning policies based on strategic value and product lifecycle.
  • Anticipating conflicts, communicating effectively, and leading resolution and decision-making when trade-offs exist.
  • Gathering inputs from cross-functional teams to craft collaborative messaging that accurately conveys complex situations.
  • Evaluating plan against expected output and past performance then engaging in conversations to call out risk.
  • Role modeling a positive and productive work environment, and coaching peers to do the same.

(Qualification Requirements)

  • 3+ years of inventory management experience in a retail and/or food & beverage.
  • Prior or recent experience with in-store replenishment is highly considered.
  • Inventory management system / software knowledge (i.e., o9, MMS, and/or Oracle BI is very highly considered)
  • Ability to learn new process and systems very.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various other functions within supply chain – the Break pack space is new and a big unlock for the business which makes it exciting but also means its hectic and as a result will require someone with strong relationship building skills to partner with the broader cross functional teams.
  • Ability to independently learn and execute – In full transparency I’m not super knowledgeable about the space yet. While we will certainly have resources on the team that are and that can help support/ramp, this candidate will need to be fairly self sufficient in terms of seeking out the knowledge needed to execute.
  • Technically and data savvy – the planning logic/parameters that we utilize are fairly complex. Planning roles in my experience are either more sales focused or system/supply chain focused, this posting is definitely more supply chain/system oriented.

(Employee Value Proposition)

  • Exceptional opportunity to join one of the globally recognized and largest coffee company.
  • Kind and friendly team
