Director, M&A Operations - Andromeda

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of M&A Operations to lead and enhance our business development (“BD”) initiatives. This role is critical for driving capital deployment and ensuring that all BD team members, who report to various portfolio managers and executives, are effectively onboarded, trained, and managed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations and be familiar with CSI’s capital deployment model and CSI’s salesforce rules. This role will report directly to the VP, M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Reporting:

  • Own centralized reporting with the support of a shared analyst - analyze and present insights from Salesforce data to drive decision-making and strategy

  • Develop and manage leaderboard reporting (both for executives and BD team members) to track team performance and encourage healthy competition

  • Drive the development of quarterly and annual targets and monitor performance against those targets

Onboarding & Training:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new business development team members

  • Oversee ongoing training initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in the team

Team Management:

  • Support PM and/or other executives with hiring processes for the business development team

  • Evaluate and implement compensation changes to motivate and retain top talent.

  • Track and report BD commissions

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with other operating groups within Constellation to enhance collaboration and drive business objectives

  • Represent Andromeda’s interests when interfacing with other operating groups, including lead trading, dispute management and process updates

Process Improvements:

  • Identify and recommend improvements to the business development process, including market mapping and tradeshow scans

Salesforce Management:

  • Conduct regular audits of Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and hygiene

  • Oversee Salesforce changes and administration, including mass updates and ad-hoc reporting

Business Development Events:

  • Plan and execute the Business Development Summit to foster knowledge sharing and strategic planning

  • Organize Business Development lunch & learns to promote continuous learning and collaboration within the team

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a sales operations, sales reporting or business development role

  • Analytical mindset with an interest in diving into data to uncover insights

  • Prior experience in an M&A environment is an asset

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with confidence and polish to speak with senior executives, prospects, and business intermediaries

  • Proven ability to influence others that are either in a more senior position, or are not directly managed by the role

  • Very well organized, detail oriented, and able to work variable hours

  • Extraordinary work ethic, proactive with sense of urgency

  • Preference for a business undergrad and/or graduate degree
