About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join the Regulatory area of Nubank's ESG team. In this role, you will develop and lead initiatives that drive our sustainability agenda and support our reporting efforts. We seek professionals with a deep understanding of regulation, financial education and inclusion, and other ESG strategies, particularly within the financial services, technology, and consultancy sectors. This role involves significant interaction with local and global teams, so advanced English proficiency is required. The position is based in São Paulo.


Will you be responsible for:
  • Lead the development of initiatives to ensure ESG regulatory compliance with current and upcoming regulations, as well as Nubank's ESG internal policies. 
  • Coordinate and execute financial education and inclusion initiatives, in line with the Brazilian Central Bank's requirements and internal standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic financial education and ESG goals and trends. 
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the company, leveraging data and analytics to manage ESG performance. Provide accurate information to key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a stable and transparent line of communication.
  • Support Nubank's ESG reporting, both external and internal, ensuring alignment and cross-referencing with global standards, including WEF, SASB, TCFD and others.

We are looking for
  • Fluent English and Portuguese language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with proven experience in Sustainability and ESG, primarily within the financial services, tech, or consultancy sectors.

Our Nu Way of Working 

Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of ​​expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
