Organizational context
Within COO/KYC - WB CDD (Customer Due Diligence) Domain, we are constantly looking for effective ways to protect ING – and the financial system as a whole – against serious economic crimes such as money laundering, tax evasion and financing terrorism.
For KYC (Know Your Customer) to be effective, we need to have a uniform, clear, consistent and easy-to-understand set of rules, guidelines and processes: one standard, one mindset, one way of acting. We need to build our knowledge, expertise, processes and tooling so everyone in ING understands KYC and knows what their responsibilities are. Most importantly, we have to connect with our customers, connect our systems, policies and processes, and connect with each other. So we can act as one, coordinated, global team to protect our customers, our bank, and the financial system.
To further mature our way of working in WB CDD domain, we are looking for a colleague to join the team of process experts driving process standardization and optimization.
As a Global Process Expert, you make sure that WB CDD key processes are effective, deliver competitive advantage and if not, that the right fixes are implemented in a consistent way across functions and locations. You will work closely with global KYC teams, operational teams in ING Hubs and in ING branches, relevant delivery tribes and process participants across the value chain including Front office and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Supports in developing process vision, objectives and KPIs
- Designs, monitors, and improves global E2E processes according to regulatory, business and customer requirements
- Steers fact based on the run and drives / manage change in the E2E value chain (e.g. changes resulting from policy updates)
- Design, implement and facilitate utilization of consistent and comprehensive dashboards to measure, benchmark and analyze process performance
- Supports process standardization & optimization across WB CDD via close cooperation with community of subject matter experts
- Works closely with delivery tribes (Tech teams) to specify tooling requirements, improvements, and automation / digitization ideas.
- Prioritizes and decides on improvement initiatives in alignment with process participants, facilitate process improvements
- Involves appropriate stakeholders in process performance reviews, improvement decisions, planning and implementation of process improvements
- Reviews process performance and intervenes accordingly. Identifies performance gaps and launches remedial initiatives
Required experience
- You have a vision and solid knowledge of ING’s strategy, organization, and values.
- You have a significant track record in driving change and improving end-to-end processes.
- You have a strong consulting background, have worked in large multi-national environment.
- Experience from banking / financial industry or KYC domain is a plus.
- You have a 5+ years’ experience in process leadership roles and you can effectively manage senior stakeholders.
- You have an academic or master’s degree and are fluent in English.

Wage (gross)
- 2 510 EUR/month
- *By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
