  • Skillfully entering information into FEMA's Windows-based database while executing scripted interviews.
  • Supplying phone numbers and agency referrals for additional support services when necessary.

  • Exhibiting outstanding communication and customer service skills, ensuring a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Effectively navigating personal computers within a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Completing data entry and other relevant tasks concurrently with calls, allowing a maximum of 10 seconds for "after call" work in case of call drop.
  • Ensuring calls are handled in a private setting, avoiding the use of cell phones or public areas.
  • Maintaining a high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed, 5 Mbps upload speed; 50 Mbps download for shared connections preferred).

Required Skills

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team-oriented with the capacity to operate independently when required.

Qualifications
