Responsibilities:
Branch Leader who serves as the administrative and operational subject matter expert. Responsible for understanding retail operations processes, policies, and systems used by the credit union. Supervises, mentors, motivates and coaches team members to achieve organizational and store goals. Increases member retention through coaching and training team members to provide world class member service. Supports the Branch Manager; manages the store in their absence. Responsible for operational tasks and overall operational excellence of the Branch. Partners with the Branch Manager to ensure community presence and promote the Grow brand.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience required or demonstrated leadership ability within the organization is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; knowledge of bank/credit union lending and operations, products, policies, procedures and services is preferred.
- Ability to function in a multi-task universal environment.
- Demonstrated skills in sales, sales management, coaching and problem solving.
- Proven ability to identify and evaluate issues and reach sound conclusions or decisions based on fact and in a proactive manner.
- Must meet the necessary qualifications to obtain NMLS licensing.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
- Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
- Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
Work Environment
- This position is in-person. You’ll thrive in the energetic environment of our retail stores.
- As part of your week, you may occasionally travel between various Grow locations.
- In this role, you’ll participate in Saturday coverage rotation, with flexible availability required.
- You'll have the opportunity to attend credit union/business related functions during business hours and occasionally, after hours.
