Job Overview

Strikingly, a leading mobile-optimized website builder with a mission to empower individual expression, is seeking a Chinese-English Bilingual Non-Voice Customer Support Agent, referred to as Happiness Officers. Headquartered in Shanghai, China, and supported by prestigious investors like Y Combinator, our dynamic organization values exceptional customer experiences and individual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold our brand’s personality in every customer interaction by embodying the Strikingly voice and tone.
  • Deliver remarkable customer service that creates WOW moments for both new and existing clients through various channels including email, chat, and social media.
  • Translate our product and customer communications, such as newsletters and lifecycle emails, into Chinese while moderating translations from others.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of our product and internal software to assist customers efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and uplifting atmosphere in all customer and team interactions.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional bilingual communication skills in both Chinese and English.
  • A strong passion for helping individuals with diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Required technical setup: a working desktop/computer with at least 8GB RAM, Windows 10/MacOS 10.12.6 or higher, Core i3/AMD Ryzen 3 or better; and a minimum internet speed of 20Mbps.

Qualifications

  • Professional-level proficiency in Chinese and English.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for assisting others and contributing positively to customer experiences.
  • Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week).
