Job Overview

We are inviting applications for the position of Tax Senior Associate within our progressive Tax team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work collaboratively with our Tax Advisors and Wealth Advisors, addressing the needs of our expanding client base, which currently encompasses approximately 215 families. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our tax service offerings within a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including those for gifts and trusts, for a diverse range of clients nationwide, ensuring compliance with varying state tax regulations.
  • Monitor and manage quarterly estimated tax payments to ensure timely fulfillment by clients.
  • Assist in drafting responses to tax-related correspondence, including notices and audits, while engaging with the IRS and state Departments of Revenue.
  • Collaborate with Tax Advisors to produce forward-thinking tax projections and planning strategies for clients with distinctive financial situations.
  • Conduct analyses related to wage and withholding to assist clients in achieving optimal tax withholding levels.
  • Provide ongoing advisory support to clients on a variety of tax matters, undertaking necessary research to offer informed guidance.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative tax software solutions to improve team efficiency.
  • Cultivate expertise in tax issues pertinent to our specialized clientele, contributing insights and updates on relevant tax law changes.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, training, and mentorship of new team members as our firm continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • An active CPA license or EA credential is strongly preferred. Candidates must meet the educational requirements for licensure upon hire if not currently certified.
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant tax experience, especially in compliance for high-net-worth individuals is essential.
  • A holistic perspective on tax planning, contextualizing it within broader financial goals is crucial.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from \(80,000 to \)115,000 based on experience and qualifications. Our philosophy is to provide above-market rates to attract and retain leading talent. Benefits include:
