Remote Scrum Master | Lead Agile Practices

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate vigorously with various stakeholders, including the Lead Scrum Master, VP of Technology, engineers, product owners, and senior management. Your contribution will be vital in fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and ongoing improvement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide support and guidance to team members in understanding and implementing Scrum principles and Agile practices.
• Champion Agile methodologies and best practices across the organization, enabling teams to adopt and execute them effectively.
• Engage with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
• Identify and address impediments hindering team progress to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve project goals and deliver superior solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to Agile methodologies.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile Scrum principles and practices.

• Proven capability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies successfully.
• Experience in working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Preferred: Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
