Job Overview

We are actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Windows Server Consultant to become a pivotal member of our team. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a robust background in Windows server administration and a keen interest in infrastructure management. As a vital contributor, you will oversee the management and maintenance of our Windows environment, ensuring peak performance, security, and reliability across various infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows servers, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Construct and configure new virtual machine servers within VMware vCenter and ESXi environments.
  • Proficiently troubleshoot and resolve incidents to maintain seamless operations.
  • Execute essential operational tasks such as file management, adjustments to Windows OS settings, and software installations.
  • Employ PowerShell and other tools to conduct tasks across multiple servers efficiently.
  • Perform regular patching and updates to Windows servers to protect against vulnerabilities and adhere to security policies.
  • Manage Active Directory organizational units (OUs), users, and computer objects with expertise.
  • Create, configure, and deploy Group Policy Objects to meet organizational needs.
  • Administer Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Active Directory, including hybrid environment connectors.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage M365 applications and their access, with a strong emphasis on Teams and SharePoint/SharePoint Online administration.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Windows Server Management, VMware Management, Azure, and M365 Administration.
  • Proficient in Power BI reporting capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP is crucial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Windows server administration and patching.
  • Proficient in managing Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019).
  • At least 4 years of experience in VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other critical Windows server roles and features.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or VCP-DCV) are highly preferred.
