Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Professional Services Project Manager, specializing in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) technology sector. This remote position offers you the opportunity to spearhead client-centric projects, working directly with clients to ensure their success and satisfaction. As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders while guiding project teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, managing timelines, resource allocations, and establishing clear milestones to align with client objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating effective communication and managing expectations.
  • Oversee project budgets, evaluate risks and opportunities, and ensure financial accountability across all projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing direction and support to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Anticipate potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure quality assurance across all phases of the project, securing stakeholder approval at significant milestones.
  • Initiate project kickoff meetings to clarify scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to convert client requirements into actionable project strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust resources as necessary, and maintain thorough project documentation.
  • Conduct regular meetings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Manage resource scheduling and collaborate with other departments to secure appropriate staffing for each project.
  • Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for enhancement.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in project management, particularly within HR, IT, or professional services environments.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Paycor, Paylocity, ADP, Workday, UKG, Kronos, or SuccessFactors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and experience with tools like Smartsheet, MS Office, Asana, or Monday.com.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects, showcasing a focus on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  • PMP Certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
