Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and dedicated Project Managers based in Florida who are passionate about advancing their careers in the commercial development, construction, and real estate sectors. In this key role, you will be instrumental in upholding both our clients’ quality control benchmarks and our internal standards, all while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is pivotal for supporting commercial business functions and driving our project management goals forward. Opportunities are available in General Contracting (GC) and Construction Management (CMa) throughout central, southeast, southwest, and northern Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of project management, which includes budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality assurance across numerous General Contracting and Construction Management projects.
  • Coordinate with division leaders and project teams to manage construction activities effectively.
  • Collaborate with site Superintendents to assess construction methodologies and devise the most efficient plans.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Review project drawings and specifications, tracking progress to ensure compliance with timelines and contracts.
  • Prepare job estimates by interpreting bid documents and develop necessary subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Establish and manage project schedules to meet critical deadlines in conjunction with site Superintendents.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards by monitoring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to liaise with project teams and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for site Superintendents on assigned projects.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Solid experience in contract and construction procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with job estimates and detailed project specifications.
  • Strong communication skills for drafting reports and preparing business correspondence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, enabling effective coordination of multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of project management experience within the commercial construction domain.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce in remote settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with computerized construction management systems.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must be obtained within the first 60 days if not already held).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Compensation And Benefits

  • This is a full-time hybrid role with a total compensation package ranging from \(78,000 to \)114,000, including an annual bonus. Base salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Approximately 70% of your time will involve internal planning and coordination, while about 30% will require travel throughout Florida to oversee projects, including occasional overnight stays.
