Job Title: Public Works Project Manager - Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients daily to develop proposals and negotiate project scopes and fees.
  • Oversee plan processing at public agencies and collaborate with external consultants to create comprehensive designs.
  • Lead project staff, including Design Engineers and CAD Operators, while mentoring junior team members.
  • Establish design requirements and guide efficient design preparation while promoting team skill advancement.
  • Support marketing initiatives and client development efforts alongside the leadership team.
  • Tackle design challenges using sound engineering calculations and established design standards.
  • Implement project controls to guarantee high-quality deliverables and services.
  • Manage project scope adjustments and ensure accurate invoicing.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices applicable to municipal settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Colorado.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in public roadway infrastructure project design, coupled with experience in drafting construction specifications.
  • At least 3 years in a Project Manager capacity, demonstrating expertise in technical applications and project management.
