Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished and detail-oriented Tier 3 Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our innovative team. This remote position allows you to utilize your extensive knowledge of both software and hardware systems to deliver outstanding support, enhancing user satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, employing your exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide a team of Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a mentor for the Operations team, primarily focused on Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.
  • Provide direct support to end-users, ensuring effective troubleshooting and the successful execution of projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable plans through robust process analysis.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external customers and stakeholders to promote effective collaboration.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of various IT infrastructures, including:
    • Disaster Recovery
    • Backups
    • O365
    • InTune
    • AVD
    • SCCM
    • Hyper-V
    • ESXi
    • VDI
    • AWS
    • Azure
    • Axonius
    • IT Storage (SAN)
    • SolarWinds
  • Conduct network administration tasks, including firmware updates for Cisco switches and routers.
  • Leverage ServiceNow IT Service Management for daily operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager on ongoing projects and assist with implementing security compliance across IT assets.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage software and patch tools, particularly Microsoft SCCM, to ensure smooth enterprise operations.
  • Offer support in SQL and database administration, along with PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is necessary.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is required.
