Job Overview

Join our innovative team as a Staff/Senior Full Stack Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to enhance healthcare understanding through AI technology. This remote opportunity allows you to work collaboratively on cutting-edge projects that transform patient-clinician interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and sustain highly scalable, cloud-based services utilizing TypeScript, Python, and React.
  • Develop tools that facilitate the machine learning model lifecycle, including evaluations and dataset curation.
  • Construct robust infrastructure for orchestrating Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver an engaging user experience.
  • Make informed architectural and technological decisions that align with our business objectives, emphasizing innovation, security, and reliability.
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product, machine learning, and design to drive successful feature development from inception to launch.
  • Conduct research and assessment of commercial and open-source tools to implement scalable solutions.
  • Promote best practices in coding, mentor junior engineers, and cultivate technical excellence within the team.
  • Understand user needs deeply, maintaining a user-centric focus in your development efforts.
  • Assist in expanding our machine learning infrastructure, ensuring smooth interactions between products and ML models.

Required Skills

  • Over 5 years of experience in building and scaling distributed systems using modern technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, and Node.js.
  • Practical experience with integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs, alongside knowledge of fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
  • Expertise in cloud services (AWS, GCP), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated capability in leading engineering teams or overseeing significant software components throughout their lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with optimizing and scaling inference systems for LLMs or similar AI technologies is preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST) is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for exploring new technologies and sharing knowledge within your team.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • A track record of 5+ years in software engineering, particularly with large-scale systems and AI applications.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base Salary: \(185,000 - \)265,000+ per year + Equity
  • Salary is based on transparent guidelines and will vary based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
