About the Position:

Perform software testing in an Agile application development environment for ecommerce and integrated systems; Capture and create test cases, execute test cases within an eCommerce ecosystem; Create and document test cases to drive creation of automated test scripts in development; Execute manual and create and run automation regression tests using Cypress, open bugs and follow up; Create and document test cases to drive creation of automated test scripts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
  • Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
  • Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  • Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
  • Build test automation frameworks.
  • Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
  • Set up Continuous Integration.
  • Update automated testing scripts to ensure accuracy.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs.
  • Create and maintain a database of known test defects.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
  • Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in MDM/PIM (Stibo Systems, Precisely Enterworks, Salsify, Akeneo, Syndigo Riversand)
  • Good experience with Automation testing tools like Selenium (preferred), Cypress, Cucumber, Robot Framework is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Experience with Jira or another defect tracking tools.
  • Experience writing, developing, and executing test plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Functional, Regression, Performance, Integration, End to End testing experience
  • Experience in various delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, & Scaled Agile
  • Experience with Automation of test scripts for regression testing.
  • Experience with API first testing will be a plus.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
