The Role

We are looking for an experienced Sr Engineering Manager to lead the development of our Endpoint solution. You will contribute to the core components of our EDR and Incident Response (IR)products, while driving innovation in next-generation security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in security technologies, a proven track record in software development, and experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Development of Endpoint Solutions: Own and drive the development of our EDR product, including improving and maintaining existing features as well as building new functionalities.
  • Build the platform: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build a next-gen SaaS solution for endpoint agents, and backend services for the EDR/XDR platform.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of developers and QA engineers, guiding them through architecture, design, implementation, and testing phases.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy new features, while maintaining the performance, scalability, and reliability of the product.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring the development team has clear guidance and priorities.
  • Task Prioritization & Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, prioritize development tasks, and manage resources to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Ensure Product Quality: Maintain a continuous focus on the performance, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our EDR solution.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in improving software development processes, including Agile practices, test-driven development, and continuous integration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Engineering Management experience, leading engineering development teams.
  • 12+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on security technologies.
  • Proficient in Windows driver programming, with extensive experience in C++.
  • Experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and Operating Systems internals.
  • Expertise in EDR technologies and a deep knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Willing to get hands dirty and contribute in investigating customer issues and do hands-on development when necessary.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, test-driven development, continuous integration, and version control systems (Git).
  • Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for bug tracking and task management.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, capable of quickly diagnosing complex system issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and partners to define design specifications and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
