About The Role
Our team is growing at The RealReal, and we’re seeking experienced salespeople to help drive new consignment business. The Luxury Specialist (LS) - WEST drives new business by prospecting and closing leads within an assigned territory. If you’re customer-obsessed and self-motivated to “win” in a fully-remote, quota-driven sales environment, this could be the perfect fit!
WEST:Eligible work locations: AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, IL, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA
What You Get To Do Everyday
- Prospect new opportunities within assigned territory
- Follow up and close leads generated by marketing team
- Leverage strong consignor relationships to gain referrals for new consignors
- Outreach daily via phone and text (50-100 per day)
- Provide an outstanding customer experience
- Review contract with consignors
- Set pricing expectations through deep knowledge of luxury
MInimum Requirements
What You Bring To The Role
- Minimum 2 years of proven success in a quota-carrying, direct sales environment
- Ability to quickly build rapport with prospective clients and close
- Proficiency and comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
- Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Self-motivation and drive to achieve results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience selling luxury goods and/or services
- Ability to discuss and advise customers on general fashion trends and developments in the luxury market
Compensation, Benefits, + Perks
- Base pay PLUS uncapped commission
- $1,500/month commission (at target) - top performers at $3,000+/month commission

The expected hourly rate for this role is 26-28. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
