We are on the lookout for seasoned Legal/Judicial Independent Contractors with substantial experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while providing critical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with precision.
  • Adhere meticulously to specified style guides and deadlines to ensure high-quality transcripts.
  • Collaborate effectively with our in-office team to seek guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain an unwavering commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all assignments.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening abilities to accurately capture spoken content.
  • Strong adherence to deadlines and the ability to follow client-specific style guidelines.
  • Outstanding literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Proficient typing skills with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
  • Capability to handle sensitive audio/text content, including potentially offensive material.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications
