Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:
- A real-life working environment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement data quality standards and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data quality management within a leading healthcare company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards and processes.
- Conduct data quality assessments and audits to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Document data quality issues and maintain a log of resolved and unresolved issues.
- Support data cleansing activities and contribute to the improvement of data quality tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for documenting and reporting data quality issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
