Job description

Overview:

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Recruiting Intern to join our FL Human Resources team in our West Palm Beach, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day aspects of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist recruiters with job postings, recruiting materials preparation, candidate interview coordination, travel arrangements for candidates, and logistics for internal and external team
  • Participate in all steps of the recruiting process including sourcing candidates, screening candidates, extending job offers, etc.
  • Work in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source candidates as well as other creative sources (professional organizations, referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.)
  • Proactively track and follow up on assignments and provide status updates to multiple team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

• In the process of receiving a degree (Bachelors or Masters) by the Summer of 2025 or Fall of 2026
• Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Demonstrated leadership in a college, work, or other setting
• Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
• Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals

 

Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in an office environment
