Job description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are looking for an Online Greek Language Teacher to provide customized lessons to our clients. This is a remote position.

Job Information:

Ref 176156 : Online Greek language teacher for an adult

1.   Availabilities: Saturday 10 am – 11 am; Wednesday 6 pm -7 pm - Cape town, South Africa
2.   Preferred start date: July 3rd
3.   Lesson Frequency: twice a week
4.   Lesson Duration: 1 h per session
5.   Student’s location/time zone: Cape town, South Africa
6.   Relocation consultant: around the end of Aug
7.   Preferred virtual platform: Teams
8.   Current target language level:zero
9.   Native and other spoken languages: Afrikaans, English
10.   Student’s language needs and goals: Speaking, listening, writing (alphabet etc), reading, day to day situations, also need it to communicate with clients, colleagues

Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of experience
