The Regional Manager, Showroom Sales - West Region is responsible for achieving annual sales goals for Elkay's residential product assortment by growing current accounts and targeting new business within the home design or kitchen and bath showroom spaces. The Manager, Business Development is responsible for a geographic scope consisting of a third of the US, regionally, with opportunity for growth and expanded market share. This individual will work closely and build relationships with showroom managers and regional showroom leaders to influence sales within key accounts, contractors, architects, design and build partners, and KB dealers. The Manager, Business Development will work closely with third party sales representative agencies to execute the sales, and will manage the customer product placement, display budget, and provide training and market insights to product management and marketing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Directly manage customer relationships of strategic and multi-location showrooms and builders and meet assigned sales quota within the West Region.
  • Accountable for brand awareness, product presentation, and specifications for residential architects and designers in the Region.
  • Manage the Elkay representative residential business by providing oversight and strategic vision of the residential sales activities within the US region.
  • Manage the sales process between designers, architects, builders and showroom managers and regional key account leaders.
  • Future State - Directly manages 1-2 Zurn Elkay BDMs supporting a targeted, metropolitan area. Responsible for personnel decisions such as hiring, coaching, performance management, and firing.
  • Provide area oversight to residential product launches and ensure the agency is properly trained, targets identified, and reps are focused on the new product launch.
  • Collect, analyze and report on residential trends and provide market information, including competitive information, programs and pricing to product management and marketing.
  • Manage product display budget, showroom programs, and rebate and promotional tracking.
  • Evaluate the opportunity for Kitchen & Bath in each representative’s territory and implement plan for success.
  • Ability to travel regionally 50%

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or equivalent field required.
  • 8+ years of previous field sales experience – in either construction or showroom sales &/or sales management role.
  • Experience with Salesforce for project tracking and customer analysis preferred.
