Internal Communications Professional, Senior
Key Role:
Support a national security client in a fast-paced office, working with senior leaders and a large stakeholder network. Spearhead all client communications initiatives, communicating to the client's workforce and senior agency leadership. Leverage skills and experience to provide a range of communications support, from strategic communications planning to tactical execution and provision of steady-state communications, including planning for workforce engagements, town halls, and other events, developing marketing campaigns for those events, and leading all client communications initiatives, including large-scale outreach campaigns to engage the workforce and drive acceptance of client policies. Apply strong writing and editing skills to create a variety of communications materials and products such as executive communications, talking points, marketing copy, newsletter content, human-interest stories, podcast scripts, and web site content. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing
- Experience developing strategic communications plans
- Experience writing and editing a variety of content types such as executive communications, talking points, and web copy
- Experience with event planning and execution
- Ability to work professionally with senior leaders, respond quickly to changing priorities, and fulfill late-breaking requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with consulting, including government consulting
- Experience running large-scale change communications campaigns
- Knowledge of content management systems, including Joomla and WordPress
- Knowledge of client communications channels and vehicles
- Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
