Technology Analyst

Overview:

Intelligent Waves has a need for a Technology Analyst, Reporting to Chief Strategy Officer. The Technology Analyst will be a highly motivated and talented recent college graduate student, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of technology and be able to identify gaps in government technology capabilities. The Technology Analyst will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, assist in writing speeches, notetaking and white papers, technology scouting, and supporting the Chief Strategy Officer in the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan.

Location: This Technology Analyst is a remote work from home role based in the Columbus OH area.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 80% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.

Security Clearance: This Technology Analyst must be a United States Citizen and be able to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

• Conduct research and analysis on government technology capabilities and identify gaps.
• Write speeches and white papers on technology trends and developments.
• Provide scheduling and calendar management for the CSO
• Handle various administrative tasks for the office of the CSO
• Keep abreast of current technology trends in the areas of Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Networking, Radio Frequency Transmission, Information Systems. and developments in new technology disciplines to inform strategic decisions.
• Scout for new and emerging technologies that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Identify potential partnerships and collaborations with external organizations for technology development and integration.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Will have a recent degree in a relevant field such as Business, technology, engineering, computer science, or will consider a bachelor’s degree with sufficient alternative experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth.
• Strong understanding of technology and current trends
• Experience in technology scouting and market research is a plus.
• Military Experience is a plus.

1. Must complete a written essay on the impacts of generative AI for National Defense as part of the interview process.
