You’ll be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures.

You will work remotely, hybrid, or in one of our offices, helping clients nationally. With a growth mindset, you will share your Medicaid expertise with those around you to help drive their development while also continuing to develop your own professional goals.

You Will:
  • Help clients implement new programs and manage their compliance with federal requirements by: analyzing, documenting, and presenting analysis to clients; planning for and implementing new guidance and programs; preparing applications for grants and additional funding opportunities
  • Partner with the team to share your Medicaid expertise while supporting client needs and also helping the team grow and develop in their knowledge of Medicaid
  • Engage in marketing and business development by applying your Medicaid policy expertise to the development and review of content and budgets, including the review of and feedback on content developed by others in a way that supports the development of the full team
You Have:
  • 15 + years working in a state Medicaid agency or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with progressive leadership responsibility culminating in a leadership role similar to a deputy Medicaid director
  • Alternatively, 15 plus years of professional experience, 10 years of which was in Medicaid, at least 4 years of which was in a state Medicaid agency with progressive leadership responsibility, or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
  • Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation
  • Experience working with most Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan
  • Experience successfully navigating the dynamics of the interests of all parties that are involved in the Medicaid program, for example members, providers, plans, and federal partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and team skills
