This Position
Because of strong growth, we are hiring the position of Senior QA Analyst. A Senior QA Analyst is responsible for performing reviews of PCI DSS security assessments in accordance with established testing procedures and reporting requirements. The Senior QA Analyst reports directly to the Managing Analyst, Quality Assurance.
This role is considered a mid-level information security and compliance role.
Responsibilities
Working as a part of a team, the Senior QA Analyst primarily reviews documentation related to Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance against a set of known criteria and provides feedback and guidance to Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) in order to ensure VikingCloud’s standards are maintained.
The initial review process is focused on addressing issues related to the overall content and presentation of the report. This review is meant to identify issues related to the following:
- Conformance to PCI SSC reporting requirements.
- Conformance to internal documentation standards.
- Internal consistency (both technical and non-technical).
- Spelling, grammar, and syntax.
- Completeness of narratives for all testing procedures.
Qualifications
- Either the QSA or PCIP (or immediate ability to obtain one) certification from the PCI SSC.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, as well as navigating and doing research on the Internet.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong document editing ability.
- Strong reading comprehension ability and attention to written details.
- Ability to understand technical writing and an aptitude for understanding technical issues.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work flexibly, to adapt to the fluid nature of the department.
- Ability to deal with diverse personalities and issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
