phia is seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with a passion for protecting large enterprises from cyber threats and a desire to advance their career in a dynamic and challenging environment. In this position you will be working as part of a small cross-functional team and participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. You will also be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications. This is a remote job that requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a public trust.
What You'll DoEnsure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.Required: Education + Experience Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of professional experience; or equivalent experience/combined education; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degreeexperience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, Or equivalent work experienceFunctional comprehension of web application architecture. Understanding of PCI Security requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
