Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer. You will be bring a wealth of experience in Salesforce architecture, development and integration, with an experience of delivering scalable solutions. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills and strategic thinking to drive the evolution of our Salesforce platform and enhance our business processes.

This is a hybrid role and you will report to Engineering Manager for Sales.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Leadership:

  • You will lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions

  • You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers

  • You will collaborate with partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • You will provide technical guidance to provide best practices for a secure Salesforce platform

Integration Expertise:

  • You will design and implement scalable integrations between Salesforce and other systems

  • You will evaluate and select appropriate integration technologies and patterns

  • You will ensure data integrity and performance in integrated solutions

Collaboration and Communication:

  • You will work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other partners to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements

  • You will participate in project planning, estimation, and strategy discussions

Quality Assurance:

  • You will Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security measures

  • You will conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards

  • You will implement, maintain and oversee automated testing processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 8+ Year Salesforce development experience

  • You hold a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • You have a proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role

  • You have a strong proficiency in Salesforce development and administration

  • You have experience with integration technologies and patterns

  • You have familiarity with Gen AI technologies and their application in business solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience working in software industry

  • You hold Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Platform Developer, Certified Administrator)

  • You have hands-on experience with APIs, Mulesoft, Salesforce to Salesforce integration

  • You have previous experience implementing Gen AI solutions or working with AI technologies to enhance business processes

  • You must stay informed about the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and apply them to improve Salesforce solutions

  • You must inspire creativity through the incorporation of AI capabilities into our technical landscape

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $141,400 and $228,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
