Role Name: Senior Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM UK time with one hour unpaid break

Job Description

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you’ll be the financial backbone of this innovative research firm. You’ll leverage your expertise in Xero and Google Sheets to streamline financial operations, ensuring smooth transactions and clear communication with an international clientele. This role offers a unique blend of precise accounting and client relationship management, allowing you to showcase your financial acumen while directly contributing to the company’s growth. Responsibilities
  • Master Xero for account management, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping
  • Create and send invoices, following up with a keen eye on credit control
  • Utilize Google Sheets for advanced financial data analysis and reporting
  • Engage directly with clients, explaining invoices and resolving queries with clarity
  • Conduct proactive invoice chasing to maintain healthy cash flow
  • Manage client calls related to financial matters, providing expert explanations
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize financial processes and reporting
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in Xero accounting software and Google Sheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong background in bookkeeping and financial management
