We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineers on a variety of projects (Road & Bridge Design, Water Resources, Construction Inspection, Land Survey & Land Development), gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-world engineering challenges. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist project engineers and project managers in various stages of project development, including planning, design, analysis, and construction.
  • Perform research, collect data, and assist in conducting feasibility studies and site investigations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans using design software.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute ideas, insights, and solutions to engineering problems.
  • Participate in on-site visits to observe construction progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to analyze data, perform calculations, and generate engineering models.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

 

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with coursework in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and other relevant subjects.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about engineering challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous internship experience or exposure to civil engineering projects is a plus.
