Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Applications Engineer to join our Salesforce Platform Operations Teams to support maintaining and optimizing our Salesforce CRM platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, data management and system maintenance. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • As part of the Platform Operations Team, this role oversees user administration by managing user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions while addressing password resets and login issues.
  • They will conduct regular system maintenance, including database cleanup, monitoring performance, ensuring system uptime and overall health.
  • Monitor the level of technical debt and ensure tech debt is removed in parallel with adding new capabilities to maintain a future upgradable platform.
  • Data management duties involve overseeing data feeds, bulk imports/exports of data, integrations, and ensuring data quality and compliance.
  • Customization and configuration tasks include handling new demand, developing custom objects and workflows, and updating user interfaces.
  • This role will work on tasks partnering with other global team members in support of enhancement, maintenance, upgrades and break fixes.
  • Security and compliance responsibilities involve managing security settings and conducting internal audits in support of Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • The role requires troubleshooting support for users and managing the ticketing system for issue resolution.
  • This role will develop and maintain documentation and provide user training on new features as requested and work with users directly to troubleshoot and root cause issues as well we recommend enhancements.
  • This role will support the management of our release processes, including sandbox refreshes, and stay informed about Salesforce updates. Evaluating, installing, and maintaining third-party managed packages, along with coordinating vendor support, is also expected.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate reports and dashboards is essential, as is regularly optimizing platform performance.
  • Will engage with project teams to understand any new changes or project and the impact on the current CRM system, offering insights and managing environment coordination.
  • This role will also have the opportunity to work on major Enterprise IT projects and programs to support the enablement of new capabilities on our CRM platform.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and platform operations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, capabilities and maintenance activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $86,000 - $108,000. We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.
