Job Description:

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

We are seeking a highly accomplished, resourceful and dedicated Senior People Partner to deliver best practice HR services that will directly contribute to enhancing our employee experience and deliver our Mission.

In this role, you will be joining an experienced, engaged and passionate HR team who partner across a portfolio which comprises 23 Aged Care Homes, Community Care and Independent Living across QLD, NSW and Victoria. You will be a trusted advisor to the State Managers, and will provide hands on HR support for several residential aged care facilities and the Community Care teams. You will also provide support for people & culture initiatives across the division nationally.

This is a full-time, permanent career opportunity that allows flexibility to work from home as well as from our SVCS locations. The role is based at Heathcote NSW and there will be a requirement to work from other sites across NSW.

You will bring proven experience in partnering and coaching to Leaders across the full employee lifecycle, including: Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Experience and Engagement initiatives, Change Management and Cultural development which enhances our employee and client / resident experience. In addition, you will be involved in EA and Award interpretation and providing sound advice and guidance to our Leaders and Team Members.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a People & Culture Business Partner or Human Resources Business Partner, ideally in Aged Care, Health or Community Care; however, what’s more important than industry background is your Values and Mission alignment, commitment to provide the highest quality service, and a genuine desire to improve our offering,

  • Strong experience in providing specialist P&C advice and support to leaders across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards and Best Practice.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an engaging leadership and relationship building style enabling you to influence, collaborate with and coach key stakeholders on HR Best Practices.
  • Engaging and effective teamwork skills which enable you to build great working relationships, have fun, achieve great outcomes and add value as effective member of our SVCS and SVHA Human Resources teams.
  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate.  
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
