Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Automation expert to join LegalMatch as the Quality Assurance Practice Lead. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our products and services. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing best practices, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing the skills of the QA team. You will also lead the transition from manual testing to automated processes as part of our strategic QA plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring the QA team, fostering professional growth. 
  • Establishing and maintaining QA best practices, processes, and standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and achieve quality goals.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Driving test automation and CI/CD adoption.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality metrics and KPIs to identify improvement areas, taking proactive measures to improve them.
  • Staying updated on QA industry trends and technologies.
  • Cultivating a quality-focused culture through training and development. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is preferred
  • Proven expertise in QA and automated testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services.
  • Extensive leadership experience in building and managing high-performing QA teams.
  • Deep knowledge of QA/testing methodologies, tools, and technologies (manual, test automation, performance, security testing).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues, prioritize tasks, and drive resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership acumen, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
