Position Summary:

Analog Devices seeks a talented and detail-oriented Technical Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and exceptional writing and editing skills. This role will involve creating, editing, and reviewing technical content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
    • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and understand technical information.
    • Ensure that content is accurate, informative, and aligned with the target audience.
    • Work cross functionally with creative, web and PR channels to ensure proper creation of technical content and appropriate media mix for promotion.
  • Content Editing:
    • Review and edit technical content for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity.
    • Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, and style guidelines.
    • Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in technical information.
  • Content Management:
    • Organize and manage technical content repositories.
    • Update and maintain existing content as needed.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure content is aligned with business objectives.
    • Own and maintain technical content processes and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background, preferably with experience in electronics or engineering.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with technical writing standards and style guides.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and technical documentation tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of specific technical domains relevant to Analog Devices (e.g., analog circuits, mixed-signal ICs).

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $82,400 to $113,300.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
