Associate Director - HCP Omnichannel Media
Position Overview:


Lilly’s Global Customer Office is passionate about understanding and helping customers work together to meet their evolving needs within a sophisticated healthcare ecosystem. Under the Global Customer Office, the Media Portfolio & Partnership Team is seeking an Associate Director of HCP Media who will create and deploy media plans that ladder up to brand strategies.

Core Responsibilities:


• Business Acumen: Fully integrate into the brand team in order to build strategic media campaigns. Develop an understanding of the marketplace, customers, and business
• Leadership and Influence: Lead and influence decision-making cross-functionally by developing data-driven HCP media strategies that lead to positive customer experiences.
• Thought Leadership: Lead the development of best-in-class media strategies. Participate in the annual brand planning process in close partnership with brand HCP team; including the development of HCP paid media objectives, channel strategy, channel mix, and measurement plans, while challenging the status quo and constantly driving for innovation. Evaluate and make business recommendations, leveraging synergies across customer groups to optimize consumer outcomes.
• Media Planning, Development & Implementation: In collaboration with the media and EHR agencies, develop, manage, and evaluate the success of channel and tactical plans. Ensure consistent application of brand strategy and customer insight across touchpoints and channels. Channels include Sources of Authority, Digital Display & Video, Programmatic Display & Video, Social, Point of Care and Electronic Health Records.
• Ongoing Campaign Management, Measurement, and Optimization: Understand and apply targeting data with brand strategy to develop the business rules that trigger tactic placement, particularly for EHR. In partnership with media, EHR agencies and BIA, analyze and optimize media mix based on business performance and return on investment. Work to ensure data is accurately and compliantly captured to ensure timely delivery of measurement to inform brand decisions
• Agency Management: Effectively manage agency relationships. Establish expectations (two-way) for the client-agency partnership.
• Financial Management: Track and manage budgets for all channels, including reconciliation. Provide roll-up to brand teams and make recommendations for trade-offs as needed.
• Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all marketing guidelines, good promotional practices, privacy policies, and other policies and procedures.


Basic Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5 years in HCP marketing and/or media

Preferences:

• 8+ years of media experience, ideally with at least 5 years
• Broad expertise across multiple media channels. Planning experience with strong experience in various Planning Tools, Media Measurement, and Media Mix Modeling
• Must be highly collaborative in nature and understand how to get things done within a complex, layered organization.
• Self-directed, with strong decision-making, project management, budget management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to respect and work effectively with diverse teams

Other:
• Travel ~10% based on business requirements.

Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $126,000 to $184,800 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
