Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern for around 15 hours per week to assist our Marketing Event Manager in planning and executing a variety of internal and external events. This is a hands-on internship that provides exposure to event coordination, vendor management, and logistical planning in the fast-paced healthcare and pharmacy industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning, well-organized, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of internal and external corporate events, including conferences, meetings, and offsite gatherings.
  • Assist with attendee registration tracking and data entry to ensure seamless event logistics.
  • Coordinate hotel event details, including room reservations, block management, and special requirements.
  • Conduct research on potential offsite event locations, ensuring venues align with event goals and company standards.
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and assist in ensuring event details meet expectations.
  • Participate in menu selection processes, collaborating with catering teams to create appropriate menus for events.
