Lead Sales Manager - Mobile Water Services DACH (m/f/d) 
Fluent in English and German

VEOLIA Water technologies & Solutions is currently searching for a Lead Sales Manager - Mobile Water Services DACH to assume responsibility for driving outsourced water solutions Sales, for short, mid & long term contracts. Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader MWS, the candidate will work in an international and highly stimulating  environment, with frequent contact with team members both in the region and overseas. He/she works closely with  a diverse functional team, sales, C&E team (Commercial Engineering), Global Field Service, Corporate. The job  requires highly motivation, persistent and sales driven spirit oriented 

Essential responsibilities 

  • Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but not be limited to the following: 
  • Act as an expert (technical and commercial) in the market for growing Veolia Brand as a provider of Mobile  temporary water service & outsourced solutions
  • Develop and execute growth strategies and action plans to maintain the network of Water users, in line with the company capabilities and expectations; 
  • Develop opportunities in the DACH region, by solving critical issues the Industries are facing around water treatment 
  • Actively educate end-users throughout the region of the benefits of implementing an Emergency Water Plan. Achieve the given sales targets consistently through the year; 
  • Provide accurate sales forecast as demanded by the Organization; 
  • Understand customer’s needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Sales Supporting functions to provide competitive solutions for our customers and drive the sales cycle; 
  • Support companies’ campaigns and gather market information for fleet unit technology and other companies’ new developments; 
  • Promote companies’ solutions, including customer meetings, conferences and delivering papers; Identify market trends and changes in the local legislation that trigger the use of the company’s solution portfolio Adhering to all internal procedures and tools related to risk review stages and bid preparation, forecasting; 
  • Work closely with other Sales Managers in the region to create synergies and to ensure a seamless execution of the region growth strategies 
  • Assisting Project Managers and Project Engineers in the preparation of biding/execution hand-over procedures; Make integrity a main driver for his/her activities. 

 

Qualifications
  • Results oriented – driven by an unwavering passion to hit sales targets year over year. 
  • Commercial mindset – top in reading through the client needs and develop a win strategy by delivering value to the customer 
  • Proven knowledge of selling temporary solution (containerized unit as Ion exchange, RO, UF,…) and/or water treatment services is a plus 
  • Proven expertise in water treatment for the Large industries, with focus in Power, Refining, petrochemical and chemical. 
  • Solid technical sales experience in Water environment, ideally in Service offering Ability to work in a matrix organization 
  • Deep understanding of the water market dynamics; bring an extended network of contacts in Industrial sites, Water Companies, Contractors, … 
  • Bachelor's degree (Laurea) in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience; Masters or PhD degree or equivalent is a plus 
  • Fluent in English and German. French language is a plus. 
  • Team player– passionate to work with the Veolia team and engage successfully with clients 
  • Self-motivated - capable of stepping up with seniority in front of any layers within the client org 
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Currently living in Germany or willing and eligible to relocate to Germany
