As a Project Procurement Manager, you will provide Procurement Services to Projects based on Sandoz Procurement Guidelines, the project Sourcing Strategy and Project Procurement Plan. You will be responsible for delivering productivity targets, utilizing local and regional market intelligence, and managing and tracking procurement KPI's. Additionally, you will align with the Cluster and Global procurement team and internal business stakeholders to rationalize the supply base, achieve cost savings, and perform contract negotiations and administration to ensure compliance, legality, and auditability. Your key responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Implement the sourcing strategy for a specific capital project aligned with local site project team and with global category management.
  • Manage all aspects of project sourcing activities in a fast paced project environment.
  • Prepare and distribute RFP/RFQs for projects and align efforts with key team members in Operations, Finance, Engineering and Quality.
  • Create bid packages and perform bid analysis, reviewing findings and recommendations with Purchasing Management and Project Team.
  • Lead negotiation with selected suppliers and develop contracts. Act as team leader for all assigned contracts.
  • Develop and drive annual project cost savings goals and objectives.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to increase cost efficiency in conjunction with the functional area stakeholders across Sandoz sites to add value and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between suppliers, internal customers and legal department. 

 

What you will bring to the role: 

 

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as engineering, business administration, finance, law or a scientific discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in the area of Procurement
  • 3+ years of experience in Capital Project Sourcing with demonstrated technical experience and demonstrated experience in contract development.
  • Fluent knowledge of Slovenian and English language.
